About Our Club
Middleton Rangers Football Club delivers inclusive football in Darlington for all ages and abilities. We are an FA Charter Standard Community Club.
Through FA guideline coaching, various players have developed and gone on to have trials or play within academies including, Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Hartlepool, Darlington and York.

What a brilliant battle from the Hurricanes today! 🌪️⚽️
It was a well-matched game from start to finish, with both teams working hard, battling for every ball and showing great determination.
Our defence was absolutely fantastic today, putting in a strong performance and doing a brilliant job of keeping the ball out of our box. They worked hard together, stayed focused and showed some great defending when it mattered. 👏🛡️
In midfield, the boys were on fire! 🔥 They worked tirelessly to win the ball, get it moving forward and open up so many chances for us. There was some great attacking play and plenty of positive movement going forward.
Both teams battled hard throughout, making for an exciting and competitive game. The boys never stopped working and showed some fantastic teamwork and commitment.
A huge well done to all the Hurricanes today! 🌪️💙 You should all be really proud of your effort, teamwork and determination.

HURRICANE WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE! ⛈️
Two games, two performances. The U10 Hurricanes made the trip to Saltburn today and picked up exactly where they left off last week.
Another all round team display with the Hurricanes defending solidly, moving the ball around well and scoring plenty of goals.
The Saltburn keeper was like a wall in goal at times, but the Hurricanes kept attacking throughout the game and added four goals in the second half.
Great start to the season, keep it up boys!

Played in an unfamiliar striker's role initially. Consistently got into dangerous areas, showed some great touches and took his goal well.
Back in midfield Mitch showed his customary calmness and passing ability but is developing a real positional awareness which is helping the team massively.

Great to have Theo back with the team today.
Strong in defence all game and deserved his assist after surging down the wing.
One of the team's most consistent performers, hardly ever having a bad game. Well done Theo 👍
Middleton Rangers u8 mosquitoes v Seaton carew u8
Today saw the Mosquitoes go up against Seaton Carew, in our 2nd league outing of the season.
Nelly in goals had to make some big saves which she handled well. Roman played well hustling off the ball and carrying it forward with a few early shots.
Enter to the field Blaize! Who with Archie and Jack was a transformed team! We looked more frantic and energetic. Blaize had a few shots with Archie and Jack also trying their luck but again found the Seaton keeper in fine form.
Finally we got the break through! Archie got a corner whipped it in and found Jack at the back post to swing his right knee at it and guide it in!
Seaton kept pushing hard but Josh at the back and Nelly in goal were playing really well.
The game was end to end and great to watch.

U8 spitfires vs Billingham synthonia whites U8.
Great first game of the season. It was hot, and they were a decent team. The lads all worked hard, did everything they were told and not one grump out of any of them. Straight back on their feet after tackles. Really great effort from them all with strong tackles, good passing, and some good chances created from team play. We struggled to get going and the sun was in our eyes for some long shots from them in the first half, but we found momentum in the last 5 mins of the first half and it was a more even game from there. Solid at the back and a good display up front for the second half.

Guisborough Town Royals U9’s vs Middleton Rangers U9’s
Middleton faced a tough away game against a strong Guisborough side. The boys stuck to their task, working hard off the ball, passing well and being brave in posession. Unfortunately some well worked set pieces and a great team goal left Middleton trailing at the break. A few unfortunate injuries in the second half disrupted Middleton's rhythm. Guisborough continued to be clinical in front of goal but Middleton's heads never dropped.

Another really good team performance, a bit of a battle at times but the lads were up for the challenge.
When they got their composure they played some nice football leading to plenty of chances.
