About Our Club
Middleton Rangers Football Club delivers inclusive football in Darlington for all ages and abilities. We are an FA Charter Standard Community Club.
Through FA guideline coaching, various players have developed and gone on to have trials or play within academies including, Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Hartlepool, Darlington and York.

Under 9 Boys Match report - Whitby (A)
Middleton started off the new season away at Whitby.
Middleton picked things up after going behind and managed to equalise half way through the first half.
Despite changing things up, Whitby kept coming forward in waves with Middleton only being able to reply once.
The boys finished with a tremendous development game, scoring many and not conceding one.
The boys all worked hard but are looking to make improvements for the next match.

A good start to the new season for the U8 Mosquitoes.
A slow start gave the opposition the initial advantage but lots of battling all over the pitch kept the match pretty even throughout.
Good goals and good defensive work kept the scoreline close, with all the players giving 100 percent which was great to see.
Well done to all.

All the football heads were switched on today 🧠⚽️ The back line commanded the defence brilliantly, while our keepers pulled off some smashing saves and linked up really well with the team.
The work we’ve been putting into crossing into the box definitely paid off today, creating some great opportunities. We also had players stepping into positions they don’t usually play, which was a challenge for them, but they adapted brilliantly and made it work.
Our wingers pushed forward to support the strikers but also worked incredibly hard to track back and help the defence — exactly the kind of teamwork we want to see. 💪
And the morale within the group was amazing today! Everyone encouraged each other, worked for each other and stayed together right until the final whistle. ❤️👏

Bobby was an absolute wall today! 🧱 He worked tirelessly, held the ball up brilliantly and brought the strikers into play really well. A thoroughly deserved Player of the Match! 👏⚽️

BREAKING NEWS: HURRICANE SEASON HAS BEGUN!
Summer is officially over, the boots are on and football is back!
The U10 Hurricanes travelled to Bishop Auckland for the opening game of the new season, with two new faces joining the squad. A huge welcome to Ollie and Albie, great to have you both on board and part of the Hurricanes team. 🌪️
And what a way to start the season!
It was a fantastic effort from the whole squad, with arguably the best passing performance the Hurricanes have produced yet. There was composure on the ball, excellent decision making and some brilliant football being played all over the pitch.
The summer cobwebs were well and truly blown away, and if this was the first warning of what Hurricane season has in store, there could be plenty more excitement ahead.

Composed throughout, settled brilliantly into the team and consistently made good decisions. Capped off an excellent league debut with a well deserved goal.

Really good game of football this morning and a tough game, but we kept going until the end and took our chances.
We scored some brilliant team goals and every player really contributed.
