Middleton Rangers U12 also played in the Cup away to Skelton. Rangers played with determination throughout, only for the game to end in penalties.

Mt Pleasant U 12s V Middleton Rangers U12s

Middleton U12's began well with an immediate goal from Saafi Rahman and continued well for the first quarter. Mount Pleasant pulled the score back to 4-5, the pitch was very tricky and Middleton were rusty after a few cancelled weeks. The second half started shakily for Middleton with them getting into their stride for the last quarter and making a difference to the score . All the team played well under the circumstances with Danny Crane scoring 5, Saafi Rahman 4 and Brendan Brown his first goal for Rangers. Outstanding performance from Man of the Match Josh Musgrave.

Middleton Rangers got off to a shaky start but once Saafi Rahman bagged the first goal they began to pull together. The whole team had a good game with another goal from Saafi, one a piece from Matthew Davison and Daniel Crane and Haani Rahman hitting the net with his first league goal. At some points Mount Pleasant looked like scoring but thanks to Connor Pearce and the Rangers defence Middleton came out with a clean sheet.
