Middleton Rangers Under 11s 2011-2012

Middleton Rangers U11 Dragons gave a committed first half performance against Billingham Town. Their effort and perseverance were a credit to their club. Reduced to 10, then 9 men through injuries Rangers played out the game, though by the closing stages both teams had lost interest. Corey Gordon was Ranger's man of the match for his superb performance in goal during the first half.

South Park Rangers 1 Middleton Rangers U11 Dragons 8

Dragons notched up their first win this season, beating a spirited South Park. An evenly contested first half saw Dragons 2 - 1 ahead. In the second Benjamin Riddle and Tom Riddley added to their first half goals and Harrison Hodgson capped a memorable performance with a goal. South Park contested the game strongly for much of the half - their commitment and effort deserved to be rewarded with another goal, but despite several good break aways the Dragons' defence kept them out.

Redcar Town B 5 Middleton Rangers Dragons 2
Second half goals from Harrison Hodgson and Benjamin Riddle were the highlights for Rangers in a game played mostly in their own half of the pitch. Although Lauren Traynor and player of the match Liam Hastie tackled strongly, Redcar's skilful forward line created plenty of chances and punished any hesitant defending by the Dragons.
